The brand identity for And Architecture was inspired by the founder's unique design process which draws from eclectic interests in fine art, science, history, culture and education.
Interpreting this reflective process through the idea of windows, we discovered windows within the negative space of letterforms. Windows are places of pondering and can also frame a view to become a work of art.
The AND mark was inspired by three types of windows (Gable: A, Triangle: N, Arch: D). These shapes are a recurring and identifiable feature of the brand, used throughout to frame unique architectural details.
